We are looking for a local Mining Operator to join our team, working on our recently constructed Lucky Bay mine site. The mine has a 30 year + mine life and is located within a thirty-minute drive from Kalbarri township.
This role is a local to Kalbarri or Northampton roster working 8 days on 6 days off, 7 nights on 7 nights off.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ability to efficiently operate mobile plant equipment in a safe and productive manner.
- Use company safety systems, including the relevant tool and documentation, such as Take 5s, job hazard analyses (JHAs) to meet site safety standards.
- Operate plant and equipment, including any aftermarket technology, in accordance with company procedures.
- Report incidents/accidents and areas of concern/workplace hazards in accordance with on-site reporting procedures.
- Perform pre-start inspections and report defects on mobile plant and equipment.
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:
- Adhere to and promote safe work practices in all operations
- Minimum 6 months’ demonstrated experience performing work on mobile plant, preferably in a mining environment.
- Strong trouble shooting skills
- Valid West Australian HR Class driver’s license *desirable*
- Ability to meet certain physical demands and exposure to challenging environments.
