Requirements: 
   

  • Must be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident or have the required working rights to work within Australia.
  • Recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in relevant field. 
  • Passion for Recruitment and a desire to grow within the field. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn. 

Responsibilities: 
   

  • Collaborate with team members on specific tasks and duties.
  • Assist in duties under the guidance of experienced professionals. 
  • Participate in team meetings, providing valuable input and insights.
  • Sourcing Candidates: Recruitment involves actively seeking out potential candidates to fill open positions within a company. This can include utilising various channels such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and employee referrals. Sourcing involves identifying and attracting qualified candidates who possess the skills and experience necessary for the role.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Once candidates have been sourced, recruiters are responsible for screening and evaluating their qualifications, experience, and suitability for the position. This typically involves reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings, and scheduling and conducting interviews to assess candidates' skills, competencies, and cultural fit with the organization.
  • Managing the Recruitment Process: Recruiters oversee the entire recruitment process from start to finish, which includes coordinating interview schedules, communicating with candidates, gathering feedback from hiring managers, and facilitating the decision-making process. They also ensure that the recruitment process complies with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Offer Negotiation: Recruiters play a crucial role in negotiating job offers with selected candidates. This involves discussing salary, benefits, start dates, and other terms of employment to reach mutually acceptable agreements. Recruiters must effectively communicate with both candidates and hiring managers to facilitate the offer negotiation process and ensure a positive outcome for all parties involved.
  • Onboarding Support: Once an offer has been accepted, recruiters often provide support during the onboarding process to help new hires transition smoothly into their roles. This may include coordinating orientation sessions, providing information about company policies and procedures, and addressing any questions or concerns that new employees may have. By offering ongoing support, recruiters help to ensure that new hires feel welcomed and prepared to succeed in their new positions.
