Mining Operators (Loaders, Nippers, Explosive Ops)

CoreStaff Gladstone are putting out an EXPRESSION OF INTEREST for certain positions in Mt Isa. We are currently recruiting Nipper’s, Loader Operator’s, and Charger Operator’s. 7/7 roster (days and nights), completing 12.25hr days.   

Positions Available:

• Loader Operator
• Nipper
• Charger/Explosive Operator

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Operating the Loader (CAT 1700, 2900. Sandvik 514, 517, 621)
• Assist the mining production team.
• Operate Manual Light Vehicles.

Perks about the role:

• 7:7 days/night
• 12.25hr days
• Paid 1hr lunch break
• Super paid on all hours worked.
• DIDO, FIFO or residential roles available
• Travel from capital cities provided.

To be successful for this role you will need the following:

• Atleast 6 month mining experience
• Hold an Open manual driver’s licence
• Ability to pass full PEM
• Standard 11 (desirable)
• Coal Board Medical (Desirable)
• Hold white card
• Ability to pass site inductions
• RII ticket for the Loader
