Mining Technology Implementation Specialist

A leading & global provider of Mining Technology and equipment needs a Mining Technology Implementation Specialist for its team in Brisbane/Perth. You will be responsible for implementing/upgrading a suite of products used to orchestrate and monitor mining operations utilising autonomous/semi-autonomous/manned mobile mining equipment. You will configure systems and solutions to meet commercial contracts and mining business needs, support dealers and customers during installation, configuration, debugging, testing, and integration of projects with other systems. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team that is transforming mining operations with cutting-edge technology.

Job Duties:

• Ensure that system modules are implemented and configured according to the customer's business requirements and specifications.
• Plan and execute comprehensive testing, including integrated testing and customer acceptance testing, to ensure the system meets the required standards.
• Demonstrate the ability to investigate and resolve technical issues, as well as respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
• Provide technical training to end-users and system administrators on the implemented solution.
• Undertake implementation and integration tasks for both internal and external customers.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation, training materials, and functional specifications.
• Adhere to project management processes and fulfil implementation assignments as required.

Desired Skills and abilities:

• Experience Azure IoT
• Experience of deploying Mine Haul Truck Fleet Management and Mobile Mining Equipment Automation technologies such has Mine Haul Trucks, Dozers, Blast Hole Drilling machines and etc.
• Previous experience in Mining and/or deploying complex technology systems within large organisations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with technical software system implementation, preferably in a mining environment.
• Extensive hands-on experience with IT system architectures, enterprise computing infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• The ability to develop relationships through excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The role will run for an initial duration of 12 months with a strong possibility of extensions or conversion to a permanent position offering a career path for high performers.

You will be based in Brisbane CBD/near the Perth Airport. This is hybrid role requiring you to work 3 days per week in the office. The role will require up to 5% travel to mine sites across Australia and overseas. A competitive rate is on offer.
