About the role We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Ministry Assistant to support the Corps Officer in the delivery of the mission of

The Salvation Army Port Stephens through development and facilitation of ministry & pastoral care, in an integrated setting. Reporting to the Corps Officer, this is a permanent, part-time (24 hours per week) position based in Anna Bay, NSW. You will successfully Coordinate and run our flagship programs: Preschool Music and the FEAST community meal.

Lead and inspire a growing team of volunteers. Partner with Corps to develop initiatives like Café, Hope Village Retreat, and Community Sensory Garden. Support key promotional and fundraising activities.

You will have A NSW Working With Children Check.

A commitment to the Christian faith and mission of The Salvation Army. The ability to offer pastoral assistance, to offer prayer and to explain the Christian Gospel.

Capacity to facilitate groups and one to one with a particular focus e.g. faith-based groups. Experience in a Ministry position (desirable). A solid understanding of TSA Doctrines & Principles (desirable).
