About the Role

The Mobile Case Manager supports the Claims team from Eligibility to 130 weeks. On client site focus supporting injured workers and employers in their return to work strategies.

The successful candidate will be meeting with workers, employers and treating health practitioners to discuss, plan and implement strategies to help with a worker’s recovery and get back into work. Company Car is provided.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • The ability to gather information from a range of stakeholders to develop
    effective case management strategies
  • Valid Victorian Drivers License
  • Experience in preparing and attending claims reviews and clinical case
    conferences to effectively facilitate outcomes
  • Well-developed problem solving and decision-making skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Advanced organisational and planning skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Resilience and perseverance
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Initiative and an innovative approach to case management

Required Expertise

  • Claims management experience in the Victorian workers’ compensation scheme, ideally in return to work case management, Allied Health background in Nursing, Physio or Occupational Rehabilitation
  • Knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures,
    including the forms of treatment applicable to injuries
  • Strong working knowledge of the Accident Compensation Act 1985 and
    associated regulations
  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ACCtion and Novus
