Job Description
You will be a hands-on experienced Crushing/Recycling Supervisor, ideally with a background in earthmoving and quarrying. Day to days will include, but not limited to: -
- General daily running of various mobile sites around Melbourne and some fringe semi-rural areas
- Site Supervision, leading a team of operators, labourers & sub-contractors
- Daily and weekly planning in regards to materials/products
- Coordinating pre-starts, safety, and team meetings (daily, weekly & monthly)
- Planning in relation to daily/weekly operations, training & resources
- Maintenance of machinery/plant and equipment (basic knowledge)
Profile
You will be a person that has a great energy to start the day with drive and ambition; a hands-on person who is willing to just get in and get the job done! A good lateral thinker and communicator that enjoys working to targets and achieving set goals. You will have excellent leadership and people management skills; with the ability to self-motivate and self-mange.
Skill Set
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the recycling/quarry/mining industries (or similar)
- Hands on Crushing experience (Supervisory)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound supervision and people management skills
- A good understanding of plant and machinery
