The role
We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to work a 4:3 or 5:2 roster DIDO reporting to the Regional Operations Manager.
As the Site Planner/Scheduler primary function is to provide maintenance and resource planning to deliver safe, predictable, and reliable outcomes.
Provide plans that deliver quality and timely repairs to Mobile Maintenance equipment adhering to both BTP strategies and customer policies and procedures.
Duties include:
Planning and scheduling both short and long term for Mobile Maintenance Equipment adhering to all BTP and customer maintenance and planning procedures.
Develop maintenance plans to provide maximum production and minimize downtime and costs.
Ensuring all maintenance and statutory information stored in the CMMS is detailed, accurate and current.
Timely communication of any foreseeable disruptions to planned events.
Ensure that all work completed is carried out as per BTP and Customer approved Standards, Process and Procedures in accordance with company procurement policy.
Your Skills:Automotive or Engineering Trade Certification.
5 years' experience in mobile equipment maintenance.
Work planning, forecasting and scheduling skills with previous experience in a similar role.
Delivery focussed, with a high level of self-motivation and drive to support the workshop in exceeding customer expectations.
Intermediate Computer Literacy Skills (including MS Office Suite)
Experience with previous ERP or Maintenance Planning Systems (CMMS)
Good communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
Understands how to influence key metrics such as Labour utilization, as well as Efficiency performance measures
Ability to work successfully within a team both BTP and with the customer and autonomously
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly
Highly developed attention to detail
Previous experience maintaining/rebuilding Caterpillar equipment
Knowledge of the Caterpillar SIS system and dealer parts and service process
Current Coal Board Medical and valid Driver's Licence
