About The Role
Select Plant Australia is currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic.
This role will be Based out of our Modern Select Plant Australia – Malaga Depot on a full-time basis.
working on various Modern low hour civil and construction Machinery including Excavators, Loaders, Cranes, Telehandlers, Power Generation and a wide range of Civil Ancillary equipment servicing our internal and external clientele
Using your extensive diagnostic skills, ability to work independently and a commitment to quality control and safe work practices, Our Plant Service Workshop team will support you every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all company health and safety policies.
- Carry Out High Quality work up to and above OEM and industry requirements.
- Attended onsite Breakdowns working efficiently to resolve.
- Perform maintenance and repairs a wide range of Modern Plant and Equipment
- Complete Accurate Service and breakdown reports
- Identify and requisition parts required to carry out repairs.
- Follow internal and external clients site entry requirements and rules.
About You
In order to be considered for the role, you'll need to hold the minimum requirements below:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Mobile Plant and equipment Mechanic
- Have worked on various civil and construction plant and equipment (essential)
- Well rounded Diagnostics skills across, hydraulics, Electrical and mechanical systems
- Can do results driven positive attitude going above and beyond when required.
- Willingness to Learn and be a part of a Progressive Growing business offering modern on site solutions with a growing diverse range of Plant.
- Australian Trade Certificate, or equivalent Engineering Mechanical
- Australian Driver's Licence - Manual C Class (minimum)
- Australian Construction Induction Card (Blue/White Card)
- RIW Card (ideal, but not essential)
- Able to complete and pass a pre-employment medical.
