About The Roles
We are closing in on the 12 month mark of our 4 year open pit gold mining contract in Mount Magnet, and are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to commence in Late May/Early June.
About You
You will bring prior Supervisory level experience to the role, overseeing 15-20 piece CAT/Komatsu mining fleet including;
- Komatsu PC1250/PC2000 Excavators
- Komatsu 785-7 Trucks
- CAT D9T/D10T Dozers
- CAT 16M Graders
- Moxy & 785-7 Watercarts
This is a hands on workshop role working back to back with the Maintenance Superintendent.
Key responsibility is the management of 2 Fitters and 1 Serviceperson per shift, plus overseeing additional contractors rotating in and out such as Boilermakers and Auto Electricians where required.
Your communication and people management skills will ensure you are able to develop relationships with key stakeholders, whilst ensuring accountability in regards to fleet availability.
You will bring a simple, hands on approach to managing the on site workshop, with the ability to problem solve and ‘keep the ball moving forward’.
Essential Criteria
- Current Drivers Licence
- Mechanical Trade Qualifications
- Prior experience in Supervisory level roles
- High level communication skills
- Well developed computer skills
- Experience with Carlson Command GPS systems an advantage
- Able to obtain Police Clearance for site access
Roles are offered on a Monday in/out basis day shift only 8&6 FIFO from Perth basis, with DIDO opportunities from Geraldton/Wheatbelt etc.
These are permanent, fulltime roles from day 1, and the opportunity to provide leadership and expertise, ensuring fleet availability and our adherence to the 4 year contract.
Camp facilities on site include ensuited rooms, Telstra phone coverage, gym and wifi. Other facilities in town close at hand including an IGA, plus only a short 10 Minute commute from Airport to Camp.
