Mobile Plant Operators (Buchan)

Our client is currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators to assist in their plant located in Buchan.

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators or Quarry Operators to assist on a casual basis when needed. Opportunities for permanent employment may be offered to the right candidates.
Responsibilities:

• Prior experience with excavators, dump trucks and articulated dump trucks
• Prepare, position and test plants for operation
• Select, fit and remove attachments that operate controls
• Excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, move, load and spread earth, rock, rubble and other soil materials
• Load trucks
• Complete bagging
• Complete basic maintenance
• Collect and test samples in the lab for quality assurance

Suitable applicants will have:

• Prior relevant experience in quarrying or Mobile Plant is highly desirable
• The ability to work self-sufficiently or as a member of a team whilst maintaining safe work practices
• Have current forklift experience, front-end loader and dump truck tickets

You must have the right to live and work in Australia to be considered for this position.
