Mobilisation Coordinator
WHO ARE WE
Downer - Industrial & Energy West, provide maintenance, turnaround, shutdown and sustaining capital programs for power generation and industrial operations across Australia and operate across industries including petrochemical and refining, bulk materials handling and processing, coal, iron ore, minerals, metals and power generation.
POSITION SUMMARY
Due to continued growth, Downer are currently seeking applications from entry level or experienced Mobilisation Coordinators to join our team in the delivery of shutdown and project requirements across the Perth & Pilbara regions. The Monday - Friday role will be based out of our Perth City office with occasional site travel to provide leave coverage or just to get amongst the action!
This role will be responsible for providing all facets of Mobilisation to meet future shutdown and project requirements - labour pool management, resource forecasting, D&A bookings, accommodation & flight bookings, site access compliance and roster management. You will need be able to deal with constant change (work dates, trade numbers), have a strong process orientation, ability to work to tight time frames, flexibility and willingness to support the broader operations team. The role is BUSY - you need to be able to thrive with minimal supervision, be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) and have the passion to provide successful mobilisation outcomes for the business.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
- Previous mobilisation experience will be highly regarded, especially in a shutdown environment
- BHP / RIO TINTO site mobilisation experience advantageous
- Strong computer skills (Excel / Outlook is a MUST)
- A desire to be apart of a successful team, and owning & managing your own work load
- A flexible and adaptable approach to changing demands within the business.
High levels of motivation, excellent time management skills and a flexible approach to working hours is essential to your success. With accountability for managing client and candidate expectations, you will need effective communication and time management skills teamed with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
