What you'll be doing
To provide a quality, sustainable diagnostic imaging service by actively participating in the multidisciplinary delivery of person-focused services to the patients, clients and clinicians across Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD). Please note this position is open to New Graduates only, with all New Graduates commencing as a Radiographer Level 2, Year 1.
Selection Criteria
- Current Authority to Practice as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a EPA licence to use radiation (IA14).
- Sound written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Ability to provide a range of imaging services with required support, and to participate in the department roster including on-call as required.
- Ability to work within a team and share workloads according to skills and competencies.
- Ability to interpret request information and select an appropriate protocol.
- Understanding of legislation, regulations, policies and procedures affecting medical imaging.
- Commitment to continued professional development.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This will involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
