Mortuary Transfer Operative
Statewide Mortuary Transfers is a family run business and Australia’s largest Mortuary Transfers provider, carrying out deceased transportation for the Funeral Industry and NSW Police.

Opportunities available for local Transfer Operatives:
- Weekly rostered casual and ‘as needed’ casual positions available. Weekend availability essential.
- Applicants must reside locally (within 20mins drive) to Tuggerah area
Opportunities available for Long Haul / regional Transfer Operatives:
- Newcastle base
- Tuggerah base
Reporting to the General Manager and working within our transfer team we are looking for enthusiastic persons for the above mentioned positions.
Key skills essential for this role are:
- Be comfortable being around bereaved clients and their deceased relatives
- Be physically fit with an ability to maneuver heavy weights, and aware of effective safe manual handling techniques, although specific training is provided to the right candidate
- Show empathy, respect and understanding to the needs of the bereaved.
- An ability to work independently as well as in a team, a high level of initiative, have excellent organisational and time management skills and attention to detail along with the ability to work under pressure. Successful applicants will be well spoken with excellent presentation
- Experience not essential as training is provided
Applicants MUST meet all of the following criteria to be eligible:
- Hold a full, unrestricted Australian Drivers licence
- Be available to work on a rotating roster for a Company in operation 24/7
- Must reside closely to the position areas listed above
