MOTEL CLEANER

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced housekeepers/cleaners to work with us at:

     The Berry View Motel.

Several positions are available, starting either now, or commencing over the coming few months.

IF YOU LIVE LOCALLY, THIS COULD BE THE JOB FOR YOU.

We require cleaning staff 7 days a week, all year round, including weekends, public holidays, and school holidays, and are currently expanding our team to facilitate growth.

Full training is available, but it is preferred that you have industry experience. The roles available require the individual to be hardworking, motivated, and enthusiastic, and we would welcome you as a valued member of our team. 

All staff are required to have reliable transport to and from work, to ensure that your shifts on the rosters can be relied upon. 

Rosters will endeavour to provide sufficient work for each of our team members, as well as providing extra work opportunities that cover staff leave and shortfalls. 

Usually, you will know your shifts well in advance, but at times you may be asked if you are available for extra shifts, with minimal notice. We will offer you as much work as possible, and always try to work around your other commitments. 

The employment will generally be between 9.30AM and 3.00PM, including some weekend shifts. 

To be successful for this casual work, you will:

• Have experience in a similar role at a 3-5 star Hotel, or the willingness to learn,
• Have excellent attention to detail,
• Be consistent in following our operating systems, 
• Ensure our high standards of cleanliness are maintained,
• Be able to undertake a variety of tasks in the housekeeping department,
• Need to demonstrate you can understand and follow directions,
• Have a pro-active approach to WHS requirements.
• Be able to work a flexible roster including varying shifts,
• Have excellent communication and listening skills,
• Be highly motivated and possess a positive attitude.

Rooms are newly renovated, or currently being built, and are easy cleans.

We pay above award wages, including all the usual award conditions including weekend and holiday rates and superannuation. 

We initially offer casual employment, but there is opportunity of advancement to a part-time position, for the right person. We are happy to meet with you to discuss the role.
