Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Motel Housekeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the motel premises, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and replenishing amenities.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobby, and public restrooms.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stocked and properly maintained.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
Assist guests with any special requests or inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying objects up to 25 pounds.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products is desirable.
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
