Office Cleaner | Alice Springs Nt

Celotti Workforce are seeking a Cleaner for 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, for their client based in Alice Springs, NT

Job Duties:

• General cleaning duties in all areas in and around the buildings, walkways, verandahs and covered areas, including the removal of litter, vacuuming carpets, cleaning the hard floor surface, wiping down surfaces, dusting shelves, clearing bins, & spot cleaning accidents & emergencies.
• Maintain storage areas, so that they are presented in a clean and tidy manner.
• Report any maintenance work that may be required to the Supervisor.
• Prepare rooms for functions including cleaning of room, ensuring lights are on/off at the appropriate times, furniture and fittings are intact before/after functions and the crockery and cutlery are accounted for.
• Contribute to OHS&W compliance by maintaining competency and utilising safe working practices and reporting unsafe work practices.
• Undertake a range of appropriate support duties when required by the Supervisor.

• Knowledge of the safe use of appropriate chemicals with the ability to measure simple quantities.
• Sound written and verbal communication skills, interpret work plans, instructions and procedures.
• Cleaning experience.
• Understanding of or/and familiarity with aboriginal culture.
