Form of workOur Client are leaders within Motor Assessing globally, leading the way in software and data analytics services used to streamline elements of the motor vehicle claims management process. They are looking to lead the game rethinking old processes by digitalising and speeding up manual processes in the field of automobile claims management.
We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Motor Assessing Managerto be responsible for leading, developing & driving a team of national Motor Assessors, as well as assessing motor vehicle claims and digital assessments.

About the Role…
Leadership
- Provide leadership and guidance to a national team of assessors, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members, regularly reviewing progress and providing feedback to support professional development and growth.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, integrity, and customer service excellence in all interactions and activities.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and assessments of staff performance, including claims assessments, customer interactions, and adherence to company standards.
- Assess motor vehicle claims and digital assessments, inspect damage and review quotes to determine fair and reasonable repair costs whilst achieving fast turnaround times, controlling costs & detecting and reducing fraud.
- Develop comprehensive training programs and materials for motor claims assessors and staff, including training manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Lead the onboarding process for new staff, providing orientation and training on company policies, procedures, and systems.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to groups and individuals, both in-person and remotely, covering topics such as claims assessment techniques, customer service skills, and compliance requirements.
- Strong Motor Assessing experience with relevant Trade qualification - Panel Beating or Spray Painting preferred
- Leadership experience with the insurance industry.
- Experience, knowledge and comprehensive understanding within the motor vehicle repair industry.
- Analytical skills, high level of problem solving and systems thinking.
- Ability to lead innovation and change, including personal resilience.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire and apply new learning to improve business performance.
