The Motor Claims Assessing and Repair ServicesTeam Lead is responsible for managing the Motor Assessing Department and the working relationship with the motor vehicle assessors and motor supplier/repair network.
This role will direct and develop the Motor Assessing Team, ensuring day to day operational execution of the function delivers best practice motor assessing services and establishes credible relationships with Motor Vehicle Suppliers/Repairers. The role is also required to work closely with RACTI’s Motor Assessing Platform (ARNIE) for the continuous improvement of the platform and assessing processes.
Reporting to the Assessing and Repair Services Manager, this role will analyse various forms of information to make rational judgements from the available data to produce workable solutions to deliver on the execution of our motor assessing activity and value across the Motor Claims Assessing and Repair function.
Successful candidates will have:
- Demonstrated prior knowledge and experience in general insurance claims, motor repair industry.
- Experience in leading and developing teams.
- Ability to influence key business and people outcomes.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, data analysis and decision-making capabilities.
- Be very well organised and have strong prioritising skills in order to set clear targets to get the best out of your team.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to establish and develop effective networks and relationships.
