Mount Lofty Estate - Guest Relations Host/Concierge

We are looking for a passionate & hard working Guest Relations Host/Concierge to join our Mount Lofty Team; You would be a key member of our star team, working together to deliver unique experiences to all of our guests. Old fashioned hospitality is at the core of what we do, welcoming guests into our home.   

The property has been awarded TripAdvisor's #1 Luxury and Small Hotel in Australia and South Pacific. Boasting a 3 Chef Hat restaurant, vineyards on the estate, 30 acres of gardens, indulgent day spa,  New York Style cocktail bar, all perched on Mount Lofty Summit and only 15 minutes from Adelaide CBD!

Specialising in stunning Celebration, Luxury Stays, Wedding Receptions & Unique Conference Retreats, historic Mount Lofty House is one of Australia's preferred destinations.

Now we are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic Guest Relations Host/Conciergefor our Front Office Department at Mount Lofty House. As long as you are hospitable, flexible and are genuine in your care for others you will do well. And have a lot of fun along the way.

Our Guest Relations Host/Conciergewill have direct responsibility for:

• Welcoming all guests into our home with warm hospitality
• Managing the guest experience, arrival through to departure
• Undertaking check-ins and check-outs of guests
• Collecting bags and delivering to/from guest rooms
• Processing of phone and email reservations
• Restaurant & day spa booking coordination
• Have a full working knowledge of hotel rooms & rates, restaurant and spa services, as well as general Hotel facilities
• Communicate any guest special requests to the appropriate department(s) and follow up to make certain the request has been fulfilled in accordance with guest wishes
• Concierge, hotel information assistance
• Demonstrate genuine passion for our guests ensuring that we deliver memorable experiences
• Providing incredible, extraordinary, customer service
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
• Ability to deliver a welcome history tour & talk for all guests arriving to the Estate
• Assisting the team in the broader Mount Lofty Estate as required

Essential requirements for these roles include:

• Great communication skills, solution-focused approach
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation standards
• A passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction and success
• Experience in a Front Office, Porter or similar role is desired
• Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekends

Being a boutique hotel, this is a predominantly hands-on role so be prepared to be the front face of Mount Lofty House!
