Senior Dental Assistant/Front Office Coordinator

Blackwood Dental is seeking a Senior Dental Assistant/ Front office Coordinator to join our friendly team!

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a busy dental clinic
• Ability to assist with implant surgery and periodontal surgery would be advantageous 
• Previous experience working as a dental receptionist 
• Ability to train other team members in all procedures
• Great organisation and time management skills as well as an ability to multi-task and prioritise 
• Ability to set an example for others (i.e. punctuality, skills, work ethic)
• Be well presented with a warm, mature nature and attitude

Tasks and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Liaise between the dentists, practice manager, hygiene team, front office staff and the clinical team to ensure the clinic is running smoothly and efficiently 
• Provide high level customer service to our patients, on dedicated front office days 
• Assisting the dentists and hygiene team as required 
• Processing and sterilising instruments 
• Maintain and implement infection control procedures 
• Ensure equipment and facilities are well maintained
