What You Will Be Doing

The Movement Disorders Program (MDP) provides interdisciplinary outpatient services for clients living in Frankston and on the Mornington Peninsula with a diagnosed movement disorder (Parkinson’s disease, Multi-Systems Atrophy, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Cortico-Basal Degeneration, or Huntington’s Disease).

The MDP Physiotherapist provides education and strategies to clients and carers in a short-term, goal-based capacity within the program. Clinicians may treat clients in the center or in the clients’ home, dependent on what the client needs.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Registration with AHPRA
• Demonstrated experience working with clients with a diagnosed Movement Disorder, their families, and carers.
• Current Victorian Driver's License

*Please refer to salary circular for ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021- 2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.

This role must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and meet the requirements of the Peninsula Health immunisation policy.
