Mq-28 Mission Systems Electrical Engineer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented MQ-28 Mission Systems Electrical Engineerto support the design and development of the MQ-28 Ghost Bat.

The role is based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

• Development of engineering solutions for integrated avionics, COTS equipment and custom electrical power, simulation and control systems into the MQ-28 Integration Lab (MIL).
• Installation of system hardware infrastructure and associated connectivity.
• Conductance of system hardware testing and set to work.
• Support teams in the operation and fault finding of the MIL.
• Provide maintenance and development of upgrades to the MIL to address obsolescence issues.
• Development of engineering documentation (Specifications, Design Drawings and Documents, Interface Definitions, Test Procedures etc) and configuration management of system hardware infrastructure.

Experience/Qualifications

• Experience in the practical application of AS3000 into electrical systems designs
• Qualifications in engineering or equivalent technical experience in an electrical/electronic discipline. (RPEQ &/or CPEng desirable).
• Experience with electrical design and PLM tools (Capital, 3DX etc.) (desirable).
• Familiarity with engineering change processes.
• Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
