Form of workThis vital telecommunications systems provider requires the skills of several experienced MR Truck Drivers to support their field-based network operations technicians across the Adelaide metropolitan region.
Working as a vital member of the field support team, the MR Truck Driver will play a key role in loading and transporting communications equipment and personnel to a from various company sites / warehouses and wherever network service outages might be occuring in and around the metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation: Safely operate an MR truck to transport equipment, materials and technicians to various locations within the Adelaide metropolitan area and surrounds.
- EWP Expertise: Utilise your Elevated Work Platform (EWP) training to assist service technicians in accessing telecommunication infrastructure at heights, ensuring efficient network outage resolution.
- Network Support: Collaborate with service technicians to assist them to address network outage issues promptly and effectively.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on the MR truck and EWP equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
- MR Truck License
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) training and certification
- Previous experience in telecommunications, construction or a related field is an advantage
- Undertake a Fit for Work assessment and Drug & Alcohol screening
- Willingness to undertaken ad hoc weekend work on occasion
- Strong commitment to safety protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
