MR/HR Driver - Full Time Contract

The Company

SecondBite is one of Australia’s largest free food rescue organisations. We rescue quality fresh nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and distribute it to charities and people in need.

The Position

Operating from Morningside, this is a fulltime (contract until June 30 2024) position with shifts that will be worked Monday to Friday. You are a versatile individual who enjoys being active as you work as a driver for collections/deliveries and assist with operations inside our warehouse.

You can salary package up to a maximum of $18,550 of your salary per year for both living expenses ($15,900 - mortgage, rent, groceries, house bills) and meals and accommodation ($2,650 - dinning out and holidays) resulting in more money in your pocket each fortnight!

Responsibilities:

• Collect and deliver produce
• Perform warehouse and/or produce sorting activities as required
• Undertake any other duties within the scope of your skills and experience, as directed by Warehouse Supervisor or State Operations Manager
   

Key Qualifications & Requirements: 

• A current unrestricted Driver’s License (MINIMUM REQUIREMENT)
• MR Truck License (MINIMUM REQUIREMENT - HR Licence desirable)
• A current Forklift License (desirable)
• Basic data entry skills
• Great communication, customer service and relationship building skills.
