Core Talent are working alongside a large family known company who specialize in major infrastructure projects, bulk earthworks, sewer and water & roadworks. They are currently in a growing phase and require experienced local operators to join their team!Job Description:
As an experienced operator you will be an integral part of the civil team, responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment and machinery.
You will be working locally and be required to work away when required on a set roster.Responsibilities:

• Operate a range of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and compactors.
• Perform tasks such as grading, trenching, excavation, backfilling, and material handling
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Safely and efficiently manoeuvre machinery in various construction environments, including excavation sites, roadways, and building sites.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fellow crew members to coordinate work activities and optimize project efficiency.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately and to the required standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to keep it in optimal condition.
• Assist with other construction tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Construction White Card
• Current VOC/ RII tickets
• Experience operating multiple machinery in the civil space.
• GPS/UTS experience preferred
• Truck License beneficial
• Ability to pass D&A testing
