LifeFlight is a world leading aeromedical retrieval service with a core purpose to save lives and serve the community. We are seeking a talented and dynamic Multimedia & Production Manager to join our team and help us showcase our brand through captivating visual storytelling.
As the Multimedia & Production Manager at LifeFlight, you will be responsible for creating compelling video content that effectively communicates our brand's mission and objectives. From showcasing our life-saving aeromedical and rescue missions and patient stories to behind-the-scenes glimpses, your creative vision will play a pivotal role in engaging our audience across various platforms. You will be a part of the wider Media and Communications team who are passionate about sharing visual storytelling, content production and the production of newsworthy media stories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content that can be repurposed and shared across platforms. Film and edit compelling video content for website, social media, news outlets, internal communications, trade shows, and industry events. This also includes organising raw media, and adding music, voice-overs, and special effects.
- Edit video content, ensuring all materials align with brand guidelines and regulatory compliance. Manage the uploading, storing, and filing of content safely and securely.
- Work with various departments to brainstorm and strategise content aligning with our brand's mission and objectives. Contribute to the creative process by proposing innovative ideas for video content.
- Work with our media and publicity team to capture and distribute newsworthy mission vision.
- Manage and administer equipment including cameras and video transmission on aircraft.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team is essential.
- Proven experience in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production techniques.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a news, media or in house production or agency environment.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to create compelling narratives.
- High proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, or similar programs, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Leadership skills to manage an AV Assistant and third party partners.
- Ability to work to multiple deadlines in a dynamic 24/7 environment, replicating media deadlines.
- Tertiary qualifications in audio visual arts, or a business-related discipline and experience in the healthcare or aviation industry are desired.
