This federal government department is looking to fill various roles within several branches responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a range of policies and programs that contribute to the wellbeing of families and communities in Australia.

About the role:

Support communities in Australia by, engaging, partnering, developing, and delivering initiatives to:

• disrupt and tackle entrenched disadvantage,
• improve social and economic participation in communities,
• help build inclusive, cohesive, and resilient communities,
• improve the government's awareness and capability in partnering with communities,
• close the gap on disadvantage of our First Nation people, through actions within the portfolio.

About you:

• have personal drive and integrity, a strong work ethic, ability to work independently and thrive in dynamic and changing circumstances,
• have an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, and/or have an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline Security Clearance.
