About the Position
WHSmith Australia is constantly growing and innovating. Our latest area of growth is the newly acquired Alfred Hospital estate. We will be undergoing a refurbishment project and will be opening multiple brand new, state of the art hospitality facilities later this year. In the meantime, we will be mobilising several temporary stores which are due to open over the coming weeks. As a result, we need to build a new team! The Positions Available provide massive opportunities for growth and development within our rapidly expanding business. We are currently looking for the following team members to support our temporary sites, and eventually transition to our exciting new concept stores:
- Cafe All Rounder
- Team Leader/Supervisor
- Barista
In your application, please outline which position(s) you are interested in and your availability.
About You
To be considered for these roles, you must display the following:
- Barista experience is highly regarded
- 1+ years of customer service experience is essential
- For the Team Leader/Supervisor position, you must have at least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- You must be comfortable working in pop up environments such as coffee carts & outdoor operations (marque set up).
- Must have flexible availability across Monday - Sunday, mornings to evenings.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of general café operations in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
