We currently have an opportunity for a Contract Managerto join our team. You will oversee the operational and strategic development of facilities maintenance services as well as oversight for the Grounds Maintenance activities, Café operations, Cleaning and Security.
Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you will be focused on the delivery of high-quality service coordination and optimizing service delivery in all lines of business.
What you'll do
The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
- Attend property inspections and identify defects and non-compliances with the lease/license agreement.
- Implement demand management strategies.
- Implement service continuity strategies to ensure the sustainability of the service.
- Communicate with stakeholders on the delivery of services in accordance with the communication and reporting processes established in the stakeholder communication plan.
- Implement risk management controls and strategies.
- Prepare management budgets and forecasts.
- Manage the quality, timeliness and costs associated with all communications and reports required under the Managing Contract.
- Implement a formal program and perform spot checks of all Maintenance and Operational Services performed by the Discrete Contractors and Panel Service.
What you'll bring
- Technical expertise and trade or tertiary training in either building maintenance, mechanical or electrical services.
- Sound experience in the delivery of Facilities Management, Soft Services and Food operations in a retail environment.
- Sound knowledge of Facilities Management and contracting principals.
- Ability to train, coach and develop staff.
- Extensive understanding OH&S and Industrial Relations law and regulations.
- Financial skills appropriate to monitor and manage contracts.
