About Our Client
Based within the Bowen Basin and operating since 1983, our client is a leading global provider of high quality metallurgical coal and thermal coal products to a global and local market. With a focus on collaboration, accountability, respect and excellence, mining is carried out using open cut mining methods comprising of a mix of dragline and truck/shovel and high wall mining operations. Working in partnership with the local Blackwater community, they are proud to provide support across community organisations, health care, education, sport, culture, indigenous communities and local tourism.
What Will You Be Doing
In this role you will become a part of a busy mine as a Multi Skilled Operator. You will be operating a CAT 789 or above within a coal mining setting as well as other associated equipment such as Dozer D10/D11, Grader 16/24 or Excavator. You will be working a Lifestyle roster. Roles are available for Residential and DIDO Operators. DIDO roles will have Camp Supplied.
What You Will Need
- Previous mining experience operating dump trucks with a minimum skill of CAT 789 + two other skills such as Truck + Dozer + Grader or Excavator.
- You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
- SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
- The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment prior to commencement
