Details: The Cultural Facilities Corporation (CFC) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Museums Programs Producer, to develop and deliver public programs and events at the Canberra Museum and Gallery (CMAG), the Nolan Collection, Lanyon Homestead, Calthorpes House and Mugga Mugga Cottage to ensure our museum programs enhances the engagement and understanding of our exhibitions, collections and cultural heritage places
.We’re looking for an organised, creative and energetic person that can contribute towards the growth of visitation and audience engagement through impactful and innovative formal and informal learning / engagement opportunities. This position supports the organisation’s strong interest in facilitating social history, visual arts and cultural landscape-based experiences. Programs will range from small, specialised workshops and online programs, through to large scale multi-day events.
This position will establish and maintain partnerships with heritage, arts and cultural tourism related organisations and broaden the range of life-long learning experiences attached to our exhibitions, collections and cultural heritage places. The Museums Programs Producer will ensure that museum experiences delivered (onsite, offsite and outreach) are appropriate for the intended audiences and support GMH’s Learning Policy and the CFC’s Strategic Plan.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Experience working in ACT Government would be welcome but not essential.
