Hi! We're an active, fun, and respectful family of 3 with a 3 year old toy cavoodle. We have a gentle, playful, responsive approach to raising our son which relies a lot on following his cues for sleep/hunger/play. He is a curious and happy little boy who loves taking in the world and finding out how things work.
Your Duties
The role involves caring for our one year old; the ideal candidate would be comfortable giving/simple prep of his meals, engaging in age-appropriate activities, general toileting, tidy up. We do have a little dog who is very friendly, and ideally we would like someone who can take him for a walk in the morning with our son. As each session is for 4-5 hours we do not expect you to take him out in the car. The pay rate is $30/hr.Please get in touch if you're interested, we look forward to meeting you!
Our Perfect Caregiver
We're looking for a warm, engaging, and reliable nanny for our one year old boy for 3 half days a week (Tues arvo 1-5pm, Wed 8-12pm and Thurs morning 8-12pm - and an occasional evening if possible) for at least the next 6 months. The days are somewhat flexible early on, but we would like to set a routine. We live in Adamstown Heights. We're looking for someone with a valid working with children's check, national police check, first aid cert, up to date with vaccinations, nannying experience with toddlers (early childhood educator experience would be ideal), and references who we can contact. Our house is accessible by car but there is also a bus stop close by.
