We're seeking an extra set of hands who can help us look after our beautiful 10 week old baby girl. About Our Family We have our own business. I work from home part time with flexible hours and my husband works from the office with standard work hours. We have 2 large dogs but due to house configuration, they don't spend much time around the baby at all. I'm still breastfeeding on demand and our daughter mostly contact naps through the day. Our daughter is starting to become much more alert, loves tummy time and is quite smiley. Every day she gets bigger!
Your Duties
The Role Your main focus would be to care for our daughter so I can focus on getting some work done for the business. I'd always be at home with you as I'm still breastfeeding but I'd spend most of my day in the study so you'd have responsibility for the baby. Depending on the day, when she sleeps we'd like if you could help with some minor chores around the house like washing or tidying up. Otherwise, we're also happy for you to watch a movie and just hold her while she sleeps. When she's awake, I'll feed her and then you can spend the time interacting with her until she's ready to nap again. Days and Hours Ideally we'd like help for 5 hours 3 days a week, with a start time of 10 AM each day but as I'm working from home and it's our own business, this is very flexible.
Our Perfect Caregiver
A caring person who is okay not sticking to routine our baby isn't in a feeding or sleep routine yet. We need someone who's happy to be calm and understanding with a 3 month baby. As she's breastfeeding and I'm working from home, you also need to be comfortable with me being in the house with you each shift. As a carer for our baby, you'd be happy to hold her while she sleeps and respect our choice to not sleep train. No licence required, no need to take baby out of the house. Police check and first aid required. No smoking permitted at all.
