Job description

Hachette Australia is currently seeking a National Accounts Coordinator: DDS to join our Sales team. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the National Accounts Sales team and DDS customers while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

National Accounts Coordinator: DDS will be a key support person providing crucial administrative support to the team and maximising sales through collaborative promotional activity and rigorous inventory and data management analysis. 

This role reports to the Senior National Sales Manager: DDS and Non-Trade. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about Sales, and books, and keen to develop in the Sales field. It is a full-time permanent position based in Sydney. 


Key responsibilities include: 

  • Provide responsive support to DDS retailers as the first point of contact. 
  • Provide administrative support from sales materials for retail presentations to sales reporting, range forecasting and analysis. 
  • Management of DDS orders through the lifecycle from order confirmation to delivery to stores.
  • Work closely across Hachette departments and our distribution partner ADS.

To be successful in this role you will ideally possess the following skills and experience:

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience 
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sales or Business Administration
  • Intermediate Skills with Excel and Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Strong time management, administration, and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and communications skills
  • Experience using feedback and data analysis to make informed and strategic decisions.
