Due to our current expansion, an exciting opportunity has become available at our Head Office, based in Kunda Park, for a motivated National Rapid Repair Leader to join our team.
The National Rapid Repair Manager will oversee, motivate and inspire a nationwide team of Rapid Repair Team Leaders, Supervisors and Coordinators.
The role:
- Present data on the team’s challenges, successes and KPI’s during leadership meetings
- Predict resourcing needs and work with state leaders to ensure the team is adequately resourced.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to state leaders and teams
- Ensure staff are adequately trained to undertake their role and promote continuous learning and development
- Manage staff performance when necessary including one on ones, annual reviews, tiering reviews and performance meetings.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new staff members
- Assist when necessary to engage, coordinate, and manage trades during the Make Safe and repair process
- Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders
- Resolve disputes as required
- Manage OH&S matters
- Ensure a high quality of finish to the building works via remote and digital technology solutions
- Manage the financial viability of the repairs by overseeing all aspects of cost control balanced against quality of repair
- Ensure all relevant inspections, certificates & documentation is signed off
- Work closely with internal Administration, Estimators and Supervisors
- Work in line with Australian relevant building codes and local standards
- Contribute to and comply with all statutory legislation including the relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures applicable to Ambrose Construct Group
- Comply with all relevant environmental, waste management and monitoring arrangements
- Ensure trades sign-in and follow the site specific safety system for all repairs
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times, behaving in a respectful, courteous, and polite manner to internal and external customers when representing Ambrose Construct Group
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Experience in the insurance/building industry would be highly advantageous
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team, with a willingness to share knowledge and experience with others
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Competent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Estimating/Repair Management software and in the use of desktop/mobile apps
- Attention to detail with a strong work ethic
- Organisational, scheduling and time management skills with an ability to prioritise workloads and work in a systematic and organised manner to cope with tight deadlines
- Insurance building knowledge not essential, a carpentry or trade background is highly regarded
