Ambrose Construct Group are one of Australia's leading insurance builders. Due to National expansion, we are looking for a full-time Office Based Building Supervisor to work in our Prestons office.
Servicing multiple insurers in providing a dedicated water response, you will triage the claim with the customer, mobilise restorers and trades to attend and coordinate the Make Safe of water damaged properties before handing the site over to a Building Estimator to scope the resultant damage.
Please note: This is an office based role, not site based.
The role:
- Full time hours on a rotating roster
- Liaise with customers over the phone and video so communication and customer service is a critical part of this role
- Coordinate Make Safes and review reports for insurers requiring a keen eye for detail and a willingness to speak to trades to ensure they have clearly communicated their observations and actions onsite in written and visual form (via photos)
- Liaise with trades and coordinate emergency response
- Use your technical knowledge to achieve better, innovative and more effective methods of repair
- The successful candidate will have the ability to work every second weekend
- Have your Trade Qualification - Carpentry or other. Experience in renovations and repairs, especially wet areas, is highly desirable but not mandatory however full training will be provided.
- Great communication skills
- Willing to be a part of a team.
- Need a good level of IT experience and will use Microsoft products and our own customised system (which we will train you on)
- Willing to commit to their training to learn a very specialised and industry valued skill from the best team in the industry!
