ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be a key contributor to our growth strategy, responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities that align with the company's objectives. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the market, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Working in collaboration with our business areas and subject-matter experts, you will develop Business Development strategies to identify and cultivate your key relationships in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, clinics and with NDIS Local Area and Support Coordinators

Day to day, you will:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends. Consistently staying up to date on industry developments, competitor activities, and market dynamics
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Create and implement effective Business Development strategies to achieve targets and organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Business Development efforts with overall company strategies.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for the company and its clients.
  • Provide regular reports on Business Development activities, performance metrics, and market insights to the senior management team.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement based on client and stakeholder feedback and market demands.

ABOUT YOU:

  • A strong commitment to working with people with disabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in the creation of documents and reports, and analysis of data relevant to business performance.
  • Knowledge and the capacity to implement a person-centred planning approach to growing client services.
  • Sound knowledge of NDIS framework; services/products and market dynamics as well as relevant NDIS legislation and policies.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Sound level of computer literacy and understanding of IT systems
  • Current Police Check, WWCC, current valid Driver's Licence 
  • Available to travel for this role (both within state and interstate) when required

Selection Criteria:

Your application will address the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, with 3 years relevant experience as a Business Development Manager within the NDIS sector. 
  • Experience with market research, analysis as well as identifying new business opportunities and growing your client base.
  • Proven networking experience and skills both in NSW or interstate.
  • Sound planning and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to solve problems, work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate and influence effectively, people at all levels.
  • Capacity to operate both independently, using initiative and self-direction, and as a team member to produce consistently high-quality work.
  • Ability to apply a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and judgement to meet the needs of the business and its clients.

 Desirable Criteria:

  • Networking experience within SSRC (Specialised Substitute Residential Care)
  • Networking experience within Aged and home care sector.
