Base Salary: $83,089 - $96,895 (p.a.)

Total Effective Package: $103,197 - $118732 (p.a.)*

Full-Time, Max-Term Contract

About the Role

The NDIS Aboriginal Community Coordinator will lead a team of NDIS Aboriginal Community Connector to support new and existing Aboriginal participants in both town and Congress’ remote sites, with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). They will work within a culturally secure framework and will be required to work with limited supervision to support the team. The Coordinator will work closely with the NDIS Support Team Leader to ensure participants have the best possible experience in applying for, and navigating their NDIS journey. This position is a critical contributor to NDIS access across Congress town clients and remote communities

To be considered for this position, you will require:

  • Minimum Certificate IV level qualification in disability, social, community, health or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team and experience in managing employee’s workloads
    and coordinating various incoming and outgoing administrative tasks
  • Have the ability to cultivate and grow professional, meaningful working, respectful relationships with clients, participants and their families.
  • Ability to build strong, meaningful, productive relationship with local and national stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to communicate (written and oral) at a high level, form positive working relationships, adapt to audience, problem solve, manage and resolve conflicts.
  • Current Northern Territory or Australian Driver’s License
