THE ROLE

We currently have multiple vacancies for Disability Support Workers to join our team working with participants 2:1 and SIL Housing in the Shepparton Region. We are looking for individuals available to work a rotating roster, including evenings, night shifts (active), and weekends. As a Disability Support Worker, your role will consist of but not be limited to the following tasks.

• Personal & Hygiene Care ratio 2:1 
• Manual handling (mobile hoist, Gantry hoist) ratio 2:1
• Domestic Assistance
• Social Support & Community Access 
• Medication Prompting & Assistance

To be considered for this position, you must already hold or be willing to obtain the following:

• NDIS Clearance
• National Police Check
• Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Covid 19 VACC
• Comprehensive Car Insurance

As a successful applicant, you will work in a Team Environment, helping build the independence and capacity of SIL residents with psychological disabilities, intellectual disabilities, mental health, and physical needs.
