SalaryWe are looking to engage a skilled and enthusiastic .Net Developer to join our Federal Government client!Our Federal Government Client is currently looking for an .Net Developer to join their team on a long term engagement.Australian Citizens with NV1 security clearance will be considered for this role.This is your chance to make a difference for our Federal Government client in this 12 month contract with 2x 12 month extensions offered.The successful candidate/s must be able to satisfy the following role specific requirements:
- Over 5 years of .Net development experience working on large scale full stack projects including (UI, Integration, Backend services and database design).
- Back-end skills:
- Mandatory - .NET framework, .NET core, MSMQ and C#.
- Desirable - Azure DevOps CI-CD, NServiceBus and SQL Server and Pipeline.
- Web service skills:
- Mandatory - C#, REST APIs.
- Desirable - WCF and SOAP legacy services Integration.
- Security:
- Strong experience in software development factoring in security at the centre of the design and knowledge of ISM.
- Extensive experience in software development implementing rolebased access, auditing and integration with AD, ADFS, LDAP, Certificate and authentication.
- Performance:
- Strong knowledge of scalable web services using IIS, load balancers and web farms.
- Strong knowledge of efficient query design.
- Soft skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with a can-do attitude with eagerness to learn new skills and promote good development/engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders and Technical staff on all aspects of allocated projects and attend and lead relevant meetings when required.
- Capability to contribute to detailed design documentation and templates for use by the team.
