Short Description - Resources with comprehensive designing and solutioning exposure for enterprise customers project engineering role. As an engineer, you will provide design, deploy and managed services for existing network services as well as any product enhancements or new development. This is an Individual contributor role where resource need to analyze the requirement and provide technical solution, design along with implementation.
The role requires in-depth experience in the following products and solutions:
- Routing
- LAN Switching
- WiFi/WLAN and analytics
- Application Performance Solutions - WAN Optimisation, Visibility
- SD-WAN
Experience: 5-8 yrs.

- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Key responsibility is to provide comprehensive design, solution build/ implementation, scoping and technical support to the sales team as well as assisting and complementing the mid to junior level engineers in a mentoring as well as technical capacity.
The scope of Services the Sr Engineer/Engineer shall provide includes:
Undertaking system analysis, technical design, implementation, and maintenance of solutions applied to customer infrastructure.
Providing technical leadership in the execution of project implementation
Working with implementation teams and the End Customer, providing systems/Network Design and implementation support to ensure smooth and effective migration to new technology/versions.
Work closely with project managers and share major responsibility in managing customer expectations at the outset of projects.
Designing and implementing test methodologies, and managing the outcome of the testing
Maintaining high standards of technical and professional contribution to the team
Skills /Competencies:
Essential:
Mandatory certification: Minimum CCNP (R&S) or other similar vendor certifications
Cisco Route & Switch Skills - Design and Implement (MPLS, BGP, IBGP, OSPF, DMVPN, Route filtration, Redistribution, traffic manipulation, STP, HSRP, VRRP, Port-Channel/Ether-channel, etc)
Experience in design & implementation of infrastructure solutions across multiple vendors within the Project space.
Extensive technical experience in design and installation of small, medium and large networking, wireless and security solutions
Experience in technical pre-sales and customer implementation as a lead engineer
Experience in solution architecture.
Must have customer facing skills and experience.
Good To Have:
Cisco SD-WAN Viptela - Design and Deployment
Cisco Wireless Experience - Designing, Configuring, Troubleshooting WLC's
DC Relocation & Migration Services
Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
Aruba Managed Wi-Fi solutions (infrastructure & analytics : Designing, Configuring, Troubleshooting WLC's)
SD-WAN Other - Meraki, Fortinet, VeloCloud -
Firewalls - Cisco, Palo Alto, FortiGate and other
Additional Skills:
Excellent customer interfacing skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
