No: 24-018 The City of Joondalup is seeking a highly motivated Network Operations Officer to join the Engineering Services team. This exciting position requires a motivated and dynamic individual to assist with the assessment and approval of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for roadworks and events within the City’s jurisdiction.
The successful candidate will complete regular site inspections and compliance checks against approved TMPs and be responsible for the assessment and approval of infrastructure verge permits for development, demolition, and utility work. Additionally, this position will be required to conduct investigations into residential crossovers to identify and rectify non-compliance. To be considered for this role, please provide a resume and covering letter detailing your knowledge and experience, including: Highly developed technical traffic management skills including implementation, design, and coordination.
Ability to conduct inspections and investigations and produce effective outcomes within the parameters of relevant legislation, local laws and policies. Sound knowledge of Local Government and industry standards and specifications relating to civil construction. Extensive experience in traffic management planning and practices for roadworks and events, including traffic signals and network analysis.
Applicants are required to hold a current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence, Worksite Traffic Management (WTM) or Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) Acceditation, Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card) and national police clearance no more than 3 months old.
