About the role
NIDAC is seeking a Networking/Cloud Software Engineer with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role, with proven success in developing software in a commercial setting.
The successful candidate should have good organizational, communication and collaboration skills.
You should demonstrate the following:
- a Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or information technology field (e.g. IT, Software Engineering, computer sciences, data management, or similar)
- a solid understanding and working knowledge of the following:
- developing and deploying APIs to seamlessly incorporate third-party solutions and products into our existing ecosystem and optimally experience with utilizing gRPC as an API solution
- Linux platforms, cloud provisioning systems, server side programming languages. Kubernetes, Docker, ngrok
- LAN/TCP-IP networking and background knowledge
- familiarity with business operating tools and business intelligence tools (e.g. CRMs, ERPs, BPMs and DBMSs)
You will be working with colleagues to develop software specifically on the above areas, including:
- take ownership of and responsibility for the delivery of software within the scope of a project
- testing, debugging and maintenance of software and associated tools. Development of automated tests and support tools
- collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate software components into a project
- ensure all records are maintained and kept up-to-date according to company policies and procedures.
Work location
This is available for persons working remotely, hybrid or as in-house position at our office in Burwood, Victoria.
