Although there has been a lapse in project awards and capital investment within Australia many projects are still going ahead in a number of differing industries nationally. These projects have been deemed financially suitable and economically and socially beneficial to the area where they are being constructed, and as such they require skilled personnel to ensure successful delivery.
Leadership is such an important facet of these projects being delivered on time and to budget and with the onus being on the Project Manager our clients, some of the largest multidiscipline contractors and engineering concerns in Australia if not nationally, are intent on onboarding experienced Project LEADERS to manage the project from inception to completion!
We are URGENTLY seeking Project Managers for the following projects:
- CV$200m NW WA – scope: Bulk and detail earthworks for mine development
- CV$150m Pilbara – scope: concrete structures, haul roads and bridges
- CV$250m Pilbara – scope: rail embankment and civil earthworks
- CV$500m NW WA – scope: Bulk and Detail earthworks, services installation
Reporting to the Project Director, the candidates will be responsible for leading and managing the construction activities through the Design and Construct phase including tasks such as:
- Ensuring the construction deliverables are met
- Review of design and ensuring constructability is possible given said design
- Ensuring that contractual obligations of the Constructor are identified and met
- Reviewing and updating the Project Management Plans
- Championing project wide compliance to the Safety Management Plan, Quality Management Plan and the Environmental Management Plans
- Identifying Risk mitigation and assuming risk management
- Guaranteeing corporate governance
- Ensuring Relevant stakeholders express satisfaction with relationships and project outputs
A Best fit for this role would be a candidate possessing a Tertiary qualification in Engineering, professional attitude, senior level management experience and a focus on delivering large projects to the clients satisfaction, however the clients would also consider Area Managers or SPE’s that have worked on similar scopes.
NB we are also seeking Site and Project Engineers and Supervisors and Superintendents for the same projects!
