Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Used and New Vehicle Sales Trainee. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to maintaining an organized and efficient yard area. Your daily duties will include opening and closing procedures, assisting in moving and organizing vehicles, managing paperwork, and ensuring a high standard of presentation for both new and used vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Open and close the dealership daily
- Assist in moving and organizing vehicles within the yard
- Set up the yard and manage form 5s
- Re-park cars as needed to maintain an organized display
- Alert sales staff when a customer arrives
- Open gates and put out flags for visibility
- Conduct "was-is" inspections for each new and alternative vehicle
- Ensure demos are parked correctly with visible pricing
- Maintain cleanliness of demo vehicles
- Prevent detailed cars from being driven and getting dirty
- Regularly count and manage inventory stock
- Ensure each yard car has a clearly marked repayment price
- Verify that all cars are unlocked and properly tagged
- Guide customers to appropriate parking areas
- Ensure no new car is on display with stickers and plastics on the bonnet
- Regularly pick up and dispose of rubbish in the entrance area
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Basic knowledge of the automotive industry is advantageous
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
Occasional Saturdays
