Farran Street Quality is a small 35 place long daycare centre, located in the leafy suburbs of lane cove. For the past 25 years, we've been providing high-quality education and care to children and their families. 

We are looking for an passionate full-time or part-time permanent Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Farran Street Quality Childcare. This role is perfect for a Newly Qualified or working toward ECT.

About the role:

• ECT in the preschool room, supported by a Room Leader and a team of Educators 
   
• Design, implement and evaluate educational programs for our children, allowing for the unique and individual interests and strengths of each child.
   
• Support the centre to Exceed the National Quality Standards
   
• Have sound, practical working knowledge in the implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
   
• Critically reflect on each child’s learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice

Essential qualifications for this role include:
 

• A minimum of three (1) years' experience in early childhood education and care
   
• Strong team and communication skills
   
• ACECQA approved early childhood teaching degree or working towards completion
   
• Current approved Working with Children Check
   
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training (ACECQA approved)
   
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
