Job Summary
Serves as the property Manager on Duty and oversees all property operations during the overnight shift. Ensures that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided during the overnight shift. Represents property management in resolving any guest or property related situation. Personally assisting in resolving any issues and completing tasks.
Essential Functions
- Monitoring Property Operations
- Monitors and ensures compliance with all Guidelines to Operations.
- Ensures all employees are in proper uniform and are properly groomed (grooming standards in employee handbook).
- Ensures employees are working in a safe environment.
- Manages all period-end inventories.
- Assists in the response and resolution of all guest issues received directly from guests or from Guest Relations.
- Administers plans and actions to keep chargebacks and rebates to a minimum.
- Ensures all employees are adhering to proper cash handling procedures and monitors overage/shortages.
- Manages employee hours.
- Works with the leadership team of the property to identify and implement action plans to prevent the reoccurrence of guest issues.
- Promotes participation in property safety-related programs.
- Monitors employee attendance and records absences/tardiness.
- Promotes teamwork and employee morale.
- Keeps employees informed regarding new operational procedures, standards, or programs.
- Assists Team Leaders in handling employee performance issues
- Ensures all employees have complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Assists General Manager - Hospitality as requested
NOTE: All Charlotte Pass Snow Resort employees are required to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of their assigned department, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends.

Qualifications
- High School Certificate
- Previous experience in a similair role with strong leadership skills
Required Knowledge and Skill
- Good leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate and delegate to others.
- Good customer service skills.
- Enthusiasm to keep standards high running through the night.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Passion for hospitality and experiences
- Patient
- Able to work in a team.
- Knowledge of food safety issues
- Basic knowledge of liquors, wines, and beers
- Ability to operate POS system
- Valid proof of NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) prior to employment, or willingness and ability to attend NSW RSA
Physical and Mental Demands
Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking, and lifting up to 25kgs. Stress can result from the often fast pace and the demands of guests.
Work Environment
The position involves exposure to open flames and hot items (from fireplace and hot plates of food), as well as sharp cutting utensils. Most work is performed indoors, but some occasional outdoor work, such as snow shoveling, may be required. Outdoor work is performed in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, snow, wind and rain, on varied snow surfaces.
