We are seeking a Non-Executive Digital Portfolio Sales Director to join our Boeing Global Services team who will be responsible for planning, developing and managing competitive sales campaigns both nationally and internationally. This position will be instrumental to proactively execute sales and deliver activities to customers within the assigned region of Australia and New Zealand.

The role requires you to not only identify future business opportunities and promote the value of a Boeing portfolio and partnership, but develop strong relationships within Boeing with the aim to partner, engage pursue and win new and exiting business. This is an opportunity to work within an exciting fast-paced industry for a multi-national company.

As a company that supports flexible working when possible, this role can be performed from Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide or Melbourne, with flexibility of working from home and may require international travel on occasions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and campaign activities to successful completion by integrating multiple aspects of the customers' needs in a consultative manner. Craft campaign specific strategies, procure resources, and secure management commitment to ensure successful execution. Create metrics to monitor campaign project status and budget requirements.
  • Initiate, maintain and advance customer relationships and work to be accepted as a trusted business partner by the customer. Establish maintain and expand network to address customer needs and keep lines of communication open.
  • Lead preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators and ensure correct members and resources are included, recommending alternative means of compliance to customer requests.
  • Lead negotiations and finalizes commitments, ensuring mutual benefit to the customer and Boeing by interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencers.
  • Leverage company resources by building and leading a capture team to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage and foster business growth by using a comprehensive understanding of multiple Digital and Boeing products.
  • Lead the approval process by advocating the customer requirements and selling the business case to management to ensure quality deal, balancing the enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive Long Range Business Plan (LRBP).
  • Act as a mentor to colleagues regarding capturing and documenting detailed customer knowledge and assist in network development.

Typical Education & Experience

  • Proven track record as a successful customer facing professional in the civil aviation industry
  • 5+ years' experience with Sales & Marketing/experience managing competitive domestic or international sales campaigns
  • 3+ years' experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher desirable
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and SalesForce.com
