Job description

Re.Group is an Australian owned company, focused on providing solutions for recycling and recovery of resources from waste. Our vision is to create a wasteless society; where all resources that become waste are reused and are not disposed.

At the heart of Re.Group is our focus on positive community impact. We collaborate with charities, private organisations, and the Government to benefit local communities.

Join our team as the Northern Region Manager, where you'll take charge of overseeing the seamless operations of 3 Material Recovery Facilities, including our state-of-the-art Sunshine Coast facility,  and a baling facility spanning across Queensland. Your pivotal role involves crafting and executing annual site plans for each facility in alignment with our business strategy.

About the role:

  • Implement an operational efficiency framework across sites to enhance performance.
  • Maintain regional quality metrics within budget parameters.
  • Manage fixed and variable costs in accordance with agreed budgets.
  • Utilise plant capacity models to set operational performance targets.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to devise and implement process improvements and investments for optimal product quality, volume, and cost.
  • Provide leadership to the plant management team to support volume growth and new business operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement across the region.
  • Develop and mentor Plant Managers to build a high-capability team, ensuring effective performance management and skill development processes.

About you:

  • Extensive operational management experience in a multi-site environment.
  • Leadership experience in industrial manufacturing or waste processing.
  • Proficient in implementing and maintaining LEAN, 5S, or Continuous Improvement environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on employee performance management and organizational effectiveness.
  • Previous budget and P&L management experience.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work autonomously

What we offer you:

  • Attractive salary package
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Novated car leasing
  • Multiple career paths and advancement opportunities
  • The opportunity to work towards our vision of creating a wasteless society
